The Assisted Living Unit is the lead unit for overseeing and enhancing regulatory compliance for assisted living programs in the State by ensuring compliance to standards to assure the safety and well-being of the individuals residing in the programs. Assisted living programs are residential or facility-based programs that provide housing and supportive services, supervision, personalized assistance, and/or health-related services to meet the needs of residents who are unable to perform or need assistance in performing activities of daily living.
