Our Dementia Care
Dealing with people who suffer from dementia is always a challenge to family members and caring staff. Mom, Dad, Grandma: Suddenly your loved ones start forgetting, and gradually they become insecure in their environment. That's why a professional, gentle, and well trained bedside manner is important. We have very special conditions to encourage the lives of people affected and help them live completely trusting lives and free from fear.
At Greenway Manor and ECAL (Ellicott City Assisted Living) we have been caring for residents with Dementia from day one. Assisting them with daily activities and group participation is important at our facility. Our staff works closely with each other to provide a higher level of care for dementia residents. Staff are trained and meet regularly to discuss each of our residents and how to better serve our residents.
